| I need to make a complaining post.... but, is it worth the time and effort? Not really. Plus, there's too much to growl about that I wouldn't even know where to start. And, the only thing Xanga is good for is complaining.. so, hence the lack of posts.
Maybe when things pick up I'll ditch facebook and learn how to type again.
This is the state I'd rather be in:

But, For now.. I must tend to a headache.

| So, I'll actually post something. Here's the newest wedding beef... (cause I have nothing else interesting to talk about :P)
Today the 'rents, my sis, and I went to check out a few things for decorating the hall and solarium for the wedding. I actually went ahead and booked a few things! Hurray! I'm starting to scratch the surface for getting the most important thing taken care of.. and it feels really good. I'm really enjoying putting everything together piece by piece. And, I feel like I'm getting a really good start on it, too. Everywhere I go to begin my bookings, I feel like I'm way behind - but, when I get there and they tell me that I'm on top of things, it makes me feel good. My mom and I have been having a lot of long discussions about all the things we want to do to get it together. And I have so many ideas that I can't keep them all straight! I have written them down on napkins and scrap pieces of paper... but I really need to get a base plan in line.
I found these really terrific lights online through Etsy (linked through Tara's site). Little shop called Cosy Romantics. From there, I emailed them to see if they had more pictures, and she sent me to their actual site. I'm a huge fan of neat lighting - as seen by the awesome star light my sister Ann bought me that many of you have seen at parties:

So, this is what I bought from their site:

Very cool. I'll have to post a picture when I get them. I only bought one strand of them (which has 35 lights at 4 metres long) and once I see what they're like, I may get more to use at the wedding. I just thought they were so nifty. Made out of real leaves from Thailand.
So... less than 6 months left to go of planning. It's going so fast! But, still not stressing about it - just getting more excited about it as more things come into place. :) But, that's it for now... perhaps I'll try and keep yas more updated as I do more. :P
